Gail Lee Araujo, 82, joined our heavenly father on August 17, 2024, with her loving husband Henry Araujo, Sr. and youngest son Henry Araujo II by her side. Private family services will be held. The Solon-Telford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. She was born on March 11, 1942, in Streator Illinois to William and Nellie Bryan. Gail was the oldest of three; her siblings were her sister Sandra and brother Theodore. While growing up in Ottawa she enjoyed fishing with her father on the Illinois River. Upon the untimely death of her father, Gail helped her mother provide for the family at a young age. This dedication and passion to care for others would become her life's work and legacy within her own family.
