Visitation will be held 11:00 AM-1:00 PM Thursday, August 29, 2024 at the Mueller Funeral Home, Peru. Born in Saint-Avold, France, on March 13, 1950 to Tadeusz "Ted" and Claire (Morela) Dutkiewicz, Marie moved with her family to LaSalle, Illinois, in 1957, where she attended school from elementary through high school. After graduating, she married Donald Fike and dedicated her life to raising her three children and doting on her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Marie was the epitome of a loving, gentle, and devoted mother, finding her true calling in nurturing her family. Marie was not only a dedicated mother but also one of the most compassionate souls one could ever meet. She was often seen lending a helping hand to both friends and strangers, giving of herself selfles
